OVERVIEW

Making the Most of the Partnership

We design our technology knowing that the best possible outcomes happen when all parts of the system work together. We address specific needs, but do it seamlessly, without creating upheaval for patients or healthcare organizations.

From the sensors to the front-end electronics and the signal processing, our products are engineered to provide:

  • Accurate and reliable, real-time SpO2 readings, even in challenging patient conditions1
  • Early warning to alert clinicians to potentially harmful events1

If it doesn’t meet our high standards, it doesn’t go to market. We are dedicated to innovation, but will not sacrifice due diligence, rigorous testing or a full understanding of the impact of the product or technology.

FEATURES

  • Designed to be used in a range of critical care environments
  • Compatible with the full line of Nellcor™ sensors with OxiMax™ technology, including the Nellcor™ SpO2forehead sensor
  • Produces the numerics for the arterial oxygen saturation value and the pulse rate and a real-time wave for the plethysmogram for display on Philips IntelliVue* patient monitors
  • Compatible with the following monitor families: IntelliVue MP40/50/60/70/80/90/MX800 with software revision C.0 or higher

TECHNOLOGY

Get Accurate Data – Quickly

Nellcor™ pulse oximetry with OxiMax™ technology specifies a highly accurate measurement of SpO2, even in some of the most challenging patients.4

The Nellcor™ forehead SpO2 sensor:

  • Provides an expanded LoSat accuracy range of 60% – 80% SpO2 +/-3 and delivers reliable readings in challenging conditions1
  • Designed for an accessible sensor site — the forehead is generally easier to reach and less prone to motion than hands
  • Can be used with mechanically ventilated patients
  • Enables monitoring of patients from pediatric (weighing more than 10 kg) to adult
  • Single-patient use, featuring long-lasting, four-layer adhesive
